Thanksgiving
Lee and I hosted Gurney Thanksgiving this year. In preparation, I learned how to make buns, and apple pie. If you know me, you know this is a pretty big deal. Lee made the turkey and the pumpkin pies (I’m so grateful for a husband who is willing to help out and a mother-in-law who taught him how to cook). My helpful family members contributed the rest of the tasty meal. I like to think it turned out pretty good. I kind of feel like an adult now that I can put together thanksgiving dinner!
^^Love these two!^^
^^Lee cooked the turkey wrapped in bacon, Pat style.^^
^^Following the rules was optional^^
^^Harper’s outfit of choice these days. Thanks again Aunt Jody!^^
^^Grandma Marge ran crib lessons^^
^^mmmmm, pie^^
^^On monday morning, we drove out to magrath to see Mom’s recently installed headstone^^
^^The little crazies help keep it from becoming too solemn^^
^^Such a good way to spend thanksgiving!^^
I am so thankful for all of these people in my life!
