Hiking: Avalanche Lake

Avalanche Lake, 7.2km(4.5mi) roundrip, 730ft elevation gain.

Avalanche Lake is one of my very favourite hikes. The scenery is so lush and green compared to most of the rocky stuff we typically see. Plus the reward to effort ratio is pretty good.

^^We decided this trip that if we were going to keep dragging our kids up mountains in inclement weather, we should probably get them decent footwear^^
