The Dipper

We kept our annual Christmas break tradition of going snowshoeing in Waterton with my brother’s family. The kids got snowshoes for Christmas, and I was excited for the kids to try them out. We decided to try something different and did the dipper trail. Unfortunately, there was an open water creek crossing near the beginning which some of the kids didn’t quite make it over so ended up a little wet. They were troopers though, and trudged on. It was a beautiful day, with a ton of fresh snow blanketing the trail and the trees.

We warmed up afterwards with a weiner roast in the camp kitchen. My kids told me that the funnest part of the day was sledding down the snow play hills in the camp kitchen parking lot.
