Wren Turns 2

Our little Testa Rosa turned 2 last week. I can’t imagine our family without her. She has a sweet temperament with a little fire beneath the surface. We took the soother away a few weeks ago, and as a result, she’s started talking up a storm. She firmly believes she’s one of the big kids, and wants to do whatever they are.

Some other things about Wren at age 2:

  • likes to strip naked, and takes off her diaper as soon as it’s the least bit damp
  • calls every older woman Grandma
  • loves people, and is a total extrovert like her siblings
  • will ride her strider bike albeit extremely slowly
  • has no fear, and will climb up to the highest part of the playground without a second thought
  • our most polite child. She loves to say “please” and “thankyou”
  • sleeps in a big girl bed
  • loves babies.
  • still loves her “Jenna the giraffe”
  • has started to exert her independence with frequent use of “no” and running away.
  • loves her brother Jack, and is so excited to see him when he gets home from school.
